TECHIE CAMP SEASON 2026
The Willow Hill Heritage & Renaissance Center, in partnership with TECH CORPS is excited to announce Techie Camp Season 2026, sponsored by Nordson. This program offers engaging, hands-on STEM learning opportunities for students in Bulloch and Emanuel counties. With the theme “Reimagined Topics, Same High Impact,” this year’s camps build on the program’s tradition of inspiring young learners while introducing updated content and fresh learning experiences. Students will explore technology through interactive activities designed to spark curiosity, build practical skills, and encourage creativity in a supportive environment.
The program features four one-week Techie Camp sessions running from June 1 through June 12, each operating Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Separate tracks will be offered for elementary and middle school students, ensuring that participants receive age-appropriate instruction and hands-on learning opportunities in technology and digital innovation.
In addition, Techie Camp will offer a special two-week advanced program, “IT On Ramp,” from June 15–26, designed specifically for 7th and 8th grade students. This intensive program introduces participants to key areas of the information technology field, including app development, cybersecurity fundamentals, and website design. Through guided projects and collaborative learning, students will gain valuable exposure to the skills and career pathways shaping today’s digital world.

GRADES 3 - 5
Students dive into an underwater tech expedition where they learn to code, test sensors, and design creative tools using a powerful pocket-sized computer. Explorers tackle challenges, such as tracking ocean animals, to build problem-solving skills, creativity, and confidence.
June 1st - 5th | 9 am - 3 pm
Students use data and technology to explore environmental problems and design solutions that help their communities. Students collect and analyze data, test ideas, and design solutions that help people and communities care for the environment responsibly.
June 8th - 12th | 9 am - 3 pm
GRADES 6 - 8
Students journey to virtual vaults around the globe, coding and testing solutions with a handheld computer to tackle real-world challenges. Each mission builds problem-solving skills, teamwork, and the confidence to see themselves as creators of technology.
June 1st - 5th | 9 am - 3 pm
Students explore how technology drives smarter community decisions. Using data, sensors, and intelligent systems, students analyze challenges, test solutions, refine them with evidence, and consider impacts like safety, fairness, and accessibility.
June 8th - 12th | 9 am - 3 pm
GRADES 7 - 8
IT On Ramp is a two-week program that equips students with hands-on experience in app and game development, cybersecurity, and web design. Students gain valuable skills and insights into the tech industry, exploring diverse career pathways and preparing for future success.
June 15th - 26th | 9 am - 4 pm
