The annual Willow Hill Heritage Festival, hosted at the historic Willow Hill Heritage & Renaissance Center, returns on September 5 & 6, 2026, for a weekend filled with culture, community, and celebration. Join us as we honor the legacy of the Willow Hill School—founded in 1874 by formerly enslaved families—and celebrate the stories, traditions, and resilience of African American communities in Bulloch County and beyond. The festival will feature live music, local food, heritage demonstrations, children’s activities, museum tours, and special presentations that bring history to life.
