Willow Hill Heritage Festival, September 12th & 13th
Mark your calendars! The annual Willow Hill Heritage Festival, hosted at the historic Willow Hill Heritage & Renaissance Center, returns on September 12 & 13, 2026, for a weekend filled with culture, community, and celebration. Join us as we honor the legacy of the Willow Hill School—founded in 1874 by formerly enslaved families—and celebrate the stories, traditions, and resilience of African American communities in Bulloch County and beyond. The festival will feature live music, local food, heritage demonstrations, children’s activities, museum tours, and special presentations that bring history to life. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors for a day of learning, joy, and connection. More details coming soon!
